Unique RFID Center Opened in the Netherlands
published: cw 18, 2005 in Supply Chain Technology & RFIDAfter working together intensively for the last six months, Capgemini, SAP and Vanderlande Industries are proud to announce the opening of the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Experience Center in the Netherlands. The center, which is the first of its kind in Europe, was opened on April 14, 2005. The press, analysts, key clients and senior representatives from the partners arrived to watch an hour-long demonstration of the integrated solution.
Moving forward, the parties involved will work jointly on inviting clients to attend a half-day session in the RFID Experience Center. Visitors will be able to see a demo and will also have the opportunity to discuss the business case for the center. The client sessions are one-to-one and are tailored to meet their specific needs.
Vanderlande Industries produces fast material handling systems. Their products are used in distribution centers, mail sorting facilities, the manufacturing industry and for baggage handling at airports.
