Geodis continues to see strong sales

French based Geodis group continued to show increased revenue in the inued to experience strong growth despite the cessation of the Carrefour business in Korea.

In France, despite one less business day, growth remained sustained due to significant volumes in Groupage (LTL), Express, and Full Truckload services.

In Europe, revenue was stable. Continued commercial development in Germany and

Eastern Europe offset the termination of an unprofitable contract in Russia during the summer and the reduction in business from major customers in the high-tech sector in the Netherlands.

Asia and the Rest of the World continued to experience strong growth despite the cessation of the Carrefour business in Korea.

On this basis, the Group provides 2006 guidance of a significant growth in sales and a further increase in operating profit in line with that achieved in the first half of the year.
