Tichelkamp goes to Panalpina
published: cw 07, 2006 in Logistics & ShippingDominik Tichelkamp (42) the MD of Volkwagen Transport will make a carreer move towards panalpina. Within Panapina he will be, as from March 16, responsible for the Ocean Freight activities. Tichelkamp will be located in Basel.
Mr Dominik Tichelkamp, currently Managing Director in Volkswagen Transport, has been working for the Volkswagen Group for almost 15 years. Mr Tichelkamp, 42 years of age, is German and has a shipping background. After the respective education in Bremen, Germany, he chose to work as a shipping agent for Nedlloyd Lines in London.
Prior to commencing his career at Volkswagen he completed his studies in Germany, emphasizing on Transportation and Logistics. During his time in Volkswagen Mr Tichelkamp has been working as Transport Manager in Mexico and held various positions at Volkswagen Transport in Germany. He was responsible first for the European material and parts transports, later then worldwide. In 2000 Mr Tichelkamp moved to Hungary and became Director Logistics at AUDI HUNGARIA Kft. in Gy?r. After 4 years in Hungary he returned to Germany and took the position at Volkwagen. as from March he will be located at Panalpina’s headquarter in Basel.
