published: cw 23, 2006 in Supply Chain Software

A leading Chinese 3PL, Fanhang Logistics, has selected RedPrairie’s supply chain solution to help it grow its business. The promise that they would be implementing RedPrairie’s system was directly instrumental for Fanhang winning important new 3PL contracts in China.

George Zhang, General Manager of Fanhang Logistics, said “RedPrairie was selected over several international and local Supply Chain Execution vendors as they could demonstrate that their system had superior functionality and flexibility. Another important factor was that RedPrairie’s Chinese team was very responsive and easy to work with.” Fanhang is expecting the implementation of the RedPrairie system to deliver cost-effective increased efficiency. Fanhang is one of the fastest growing Chinese 3PL companies, with plans to be a dominant force in the rapidly growing 3PL market.

Martin Hiscox, RedPrairie Leader for EMEA and APAC, says “It is exciting for RedPrairie to partner with Fanhang and its leader, George Zhang, who is an extremely well-respected and insightful business leader. We are honoured that he has shown solid executive sponsorship of our solutions. Zhang will ensure that Fanhang reaps the full benefits RedPrairie’s solution delivers to extend the company’s competitive advantage and consolidate growth in China.”
