In this years edition of the the Asian Freight and Supply Chain Awards DHL is again the most nominated company. Last year DHL was nominated for seven awards and took six awards back home. This year DHL is again nominated for seven awards. The AFSCA awards are designed to honour the respective winning organizations for demonstrating leadership as well as consistency in service quality, innovation, customer relationship management and reliability.

Since the start of the AFSC-awards, twenty years ago, won always the award for the best express operator. Last year DHL did not win the award for best sea freight forwarder, Maersk Logistics took this price back home. This year DHL will have competion in this category from Kuehne + Nagel, last year winner Maersk Logistics and UPS Supply Chain Solutions. Last years winner DHL is not nominated for Best All Cargo Airline.

The top three finalists of each category in the 2007 Asian Freight and Supply Chain Awards (AFSCAs), are listed in alphabetical order below. Announcement of the winners and the presentation of awards will be held over a gala dinner ceremony at Fisherman’s Wharf, Macau on April 25, 2007.
